Congratulations to all that participated in the four days of Wood Crafters
05, I hope everyone had as much fun as I have at these events. This was the
fourth consecuative Wood Carfters Reunion. I am truly happy to see the
enthusiasm building in the scale event and look forward to an even larger
group in next years woody scale events. We had windy conditions the first
three days, but to make things worse, the forcasts called for windier
condtions than we actually had and consequently many people didn't show.
Sunday's weather could not have been better and the stalwarts were rewarded
with wonderful, no wind, flying condtions with abundant thermals.
We use two retriever winches with 180 lb test line that are user freindly
for woodys resulting in no damaged or destroyed planes during four days of
launching. A good expample of winch proficiency were the zoom launches we
were getting on our 2M Lil'Birds.
Thank you for your continued support of this event .......
Nothing But Fun At Ray's Wood Crafters events.
